Why we have started The Crafters' Guild
My friends and I have been crafting now for many years and enjoy a variety of different crafts, always wanting to learn more and to get to know about the latest ideas as they come out. Although it’s fun having the variety and choice, I find it can also have its downside (well not really!) as whenever I enter my craft room, I have to spend the first five or ten minutes just deciding which project to work on!
I don't know about you, but as a result of my hours of fun and enthusiasm to want to learn more, I have ended up with so many handmade cards, fabric projects, boxes, cross stitched items, mosaics and pottery items, to name but a few, that I don't know what to do with them all! Thinking about this then made me wonder how many other people were doing exactly the same as me, enjoying making things, but not sure what to do with all their creations - and so the concept for The Crafters’ Guild was born!
We are a National Guild, but differ from other craft sites in that we will aim to not only offer discounts, competitions, ideas and a forum to exchange questions, answers and new ideas, but we will also offer your craft creations for sale on our website in our online shop which we are currently working on. So, you can earn money without having to set up a business, have a stand at a craft fair or create your own website. We will do all the work for you!

The Crafters’ Guild is intended to bring together like-minded people, to share enthusiasm, make new friends, learn new ideas and for members to maybe even make some money if they want to!

Our aim will be to offer you discounts, not just with one particular retailer, but with many across the UK which we will be constantly working on to expand.

For this reason we are not currently accepting paid memberships until we have a wider variety of things to offer you.
